We've launched a new website for an animal rescue in tampa, fl called Second Chance for Strays. The theme started life as Minimum 2.0 but we've customized it quite a bit.

We're using a number of custom taxonomies, custom filtering, and a bunch of other stuff to help them list their adoptable cats. This one was a pro-bono job since they're 100% non profit and they spend all their money helping rescue cats from Tampa animal shelters.

Any feedback is definitely appreciated and if you would like to donate to them, I'm sure they would really appreciate it. If you don't have any money, some links from your personal websites or shares on facebook and twitter would be just as good!

I think your site looks great! The only thing (and it's not a big deal) that caught my eye is that the four home-area widgets almost seem to run together, if you know what I mean. Maybe wider margins between them might help? Really, though, I don't think that's a major problem, just something that occurred to me.

    Great work!

Thanks for the feedback. After looking at it again, I think you were right so I've added a bit of padding to those text boxes and updated the content slightly to fit in a little better.

We're also creating some nice sidebar graphics to encourage people to donate and putting together a custom donation page so that people can donate directly on the site instead of just having a PayPal button. 🙂

Looks great Robert. Love the search filtering drop-downs for the taxonomies. Slick!

Thanks for the feedback guys! I've also implemented Relevanssi and conditionally limited the search box to ensure searches return the correct results. So far everything seems to be working correctly! 🙂

That looks great!! Love the "large" features. I purchased the domain name LostinCleveland.com a few months ago to start a animal lost/found website. I need to work on that.

    It looks great.

How did you add the rotating images? Is that purple donate text a sidebar?

    Thanks.

The website looks awesome. Since you asked for feedback, here is my three cents:

It could use color in the header, footer and menu areas
A Facebook icon (just the F) stands out more than actually writing facebook on the button
Add a call to action with the phone number such as "Call us to Adopt or Donate"

By the way, which calendar did you use? It's cool.
