I have very little experience with SP/WP/Gutenberg and, as a result, I'm struggling to find a few simple solutions that will work well WP/StudioPress/Education Pro theme to avoid conflicts.

Could someone please recommend a full width solution that would allow me to include a three column/grid of photos, photo titles, descriptions, and custom URL links for more information to each row in the lower section of our club's website. I would love to have a colored background with some padding between the photo and the description like the one on https://www.harvard.edu. As an alternative option, I was able to include a full width section with a gallery in the bottom home page section, but I can't find a way to add a custom URL, title, or text. Also, I would like the flexibility of being able to place the same type of column section under the header on a sponsor page.

Last, I added Soliloquy, since it was recommended here, to use for a fading carosoul on our club's main page, but it doesn't actually fade except when viewing on my phone. Perhaps my software needs to be updated on my desktop? In either case, the carousoul is SUPER slow loading. Is there a better/faster solution for this? Or should I ditch it altogether for speed sake?

Thank you SO much for any help you can share!

I would ask the plugin developer for support in relation to the slider as its a premium extension.

If you want to link galley images, try this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/gallery-custom-links/

The WordPress gallery feature is easy to use and you can hook in the shortcodes anywhere.
