    I've seen several posts about the weird things showing up where the typical icons should be, which happens part of the time. One of the solutions posted to the support page for the plugin @ WordPress.org, https://wordpress.org/support/topic/images-come-and-go, mentions making sure the full URL is in the settings.

    My problem however, is that I am using WP multisite. If I add 'www' to my multisite code, I can no longer access my main network dashboard. This is the code I need for my multisite install to work properly:

    define('WP_DEBUG', false);
    /* Multisite */
    define('WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE', true);
    define('MULTISITE', true);
    define('SUBDOMAIN_INSTALL', true);
    define('DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE', 'mydomainhere.com');
    define('PATH_CURRENT_SITE', '/');
    define('SITE_ID_CURRENT_SITE', 1);
    define('BLOG_ID_CURRENT_SITE', 1);

    If I add "www" before the domain, my sub-sites' dashboards work but my main network dashboard for multisite gets into a redirect loop and never loads.

    Is there something I can do to my .htaccess to get it to add 'www' to my main site without having to add it in the code above, that will make SImple Social Icons work properly 100% of the time with displaying the proper icons?

    Or maybe an update to Simple Social so that it knows mydomainhere.com and http://www.mydomainhere.com are both acceptable and shows the icons properly?

    Or should I just look for a different social network icon plugin to replace this? Thanks.
