    Dear People

    I am a total beginner learning how to navigate my own Author Pro website set up for me by someone else.

    There is a bewildering amount of info out there but it seems to me no simple introduction to basics..

    I have a podcast site and it was in holding pattern until I got the podcast launched - Now it is launched and I want to update the home page... I have had a helpful response from Rainmaker re putting in Genesis Featured Posts widget, but it just didn't take it far enough - I want three podcast posts itemised on front page - most recent three

    Widgets: Can someone point me to a tutorial or link which explains

    1) How to remove widgets - eg I have Front Page 2 set up with stuff I want to now replace with new stuff.

    2) How to enter text and images to widgets - OK so I fill out the widget form but how do I guarantee it will pick up the right copy? Where is that supposed to go?

    does it just pick up from the post and use exactly the same formatting etc?

    Yeah - that's a place to start anyway...

    I guess its there somewhere but where is the question? Just not at all obvious...

    You can also search on YouTube for examples. Those links should get you started.

    Thank you. this was great and I have had success in following instructions

    Just one further query... I have tried putting in Featured Image for each podcast episode and it is not being picked up by the widget.

    What could be the reason? Sizing maybe?

    Are you using code or just the file name?

    I.e., xyzpicture.jpg or Podcast name

    The latter will ensure it shows.
