ParticipantFor the last two hours, I've been adding and re-adding widgets in the Primary Sidebar because they keep disappearing! I'm using the Beautiful theme. I've never had this happen before. I save all changes in Widgets. I have the 1st default layout in Genesis and have made sure each page is set to the default layout. It's not showing any widgets, just the one page layout (no columns).
Does anyone have suggestions? Thank you.

ParticipantI would like to ask if anyone can tell me why the widgets are not showing on my site. I add them, save them then go look at the site. When I go back to the sidebar where the widgets were that I just added, they are gone. I have checked, double checked and triple checked to make sure I have the correct layout chosen in the Genesis theme settings.
I am a member and hope I am giving enough information for someone to assist. Thank you.

ParticipantTim, thanks for responding. I have done this and tried from 2 other computers. Doesn't make a difference. Any StudioPress techs out there care to help with this?

MemberHmmm,
In this instance it may be worth submitting a support ticket through "get help" in your "my StudioPress" account.
This appears to be a problem with the functionality of the theme itself and so that may be a good option to explore.

ParticipantThank you, Tim. I appreciate the response. I have not been on the support forums in quite some time. I'm curious, what's your favorite theme? I think I might try out another.

ParticipantTim, I figured out the problem. I have Genesis Layout Extras installed. I had to go in and choose the default Genesis layout option for it to work. To think I waited all this time for help and it was right there. Hoping it helps someone else who may be in this same predicament!
