    Okay, I know that title may sound strange, but I'm using a widget area on Parallax Pro to insert a text widget with "column" class formatting ( class="one-third") etc.

    The goal is to insert 3 widget functions inside each column class to create 3 "nested" widgets across the page. Any widgets or plugins that provide [shortcode] work great, but I'd like to be able to pull a featured page or featured post into the widget much like the featured page/post widgets do.

    Is there a way to call "Featured Posts" or "Featured Page" widgets INTO a text widget?

    Why not register 3 widget areas so you can use those instead of using the column classes.
