Im using revolution lifestyle theme - it seems many widgets I add that require me to enter a shortcode onto pages for example http://www.getnetpresence.com/fmylife/confession-categories/ when I enter the shortcode it does NOT work... it simply displays the shortcode on the page the same as I entered as you will see above.
Is there something disabled that prevents shortcodes from third parties ? if so any way I can enable this so all the shortcodesI enter for different plugins actually work instead of showing [display-posts]
I have other themes I used these same plugin and shortcodes before with NO issue... they simply do NOT work with this theme
Pleas enlighten me ???

To add support for executing shortcodes in widget. Add following code in functions.php file
//* Enable shortcodes in widgets add_filter('widget_text', 'do_shortcode');
