    That's pretty much it.

    In a child theme Genesis > Settings > Header - Image Logo doesn't work. I still I have the <div> container title and description instead of header-image.

    Any hints on solving this issue?

    Can you post a link to your site? It's always easier to help if we can see what you see.

    In general, if you don't have the option to add an image in Appearance > Header, you'll need to edit your stylesheet to add the image. The theme settings are simply telling the theme to look for a logo image in the stylesheet, but if it doesn't find one, it will continue to display text.
