    Hi

I have just started my own blog on the Genesis Framework with the ElevenForty child theme. As a complete novice I am concerned that I may be doing something wrong or many things wrong that will come back to haunt me. Despite trawling the internet I cannot find a beginners explanation to the following questions:
    1) Do I use the same keywords for my blog posts as I use for my site? I currently have around 12 keywords for my site but only enter 3-4 for each blog post - is this correct.
    2) How the heck do I use, or should I not use slugs?
    3) Is their a best way to architect the site for optimization?
    4) Like slugs how do I use canonical url's

    Any help much appreciated.

Are you using the Genesis SEO that is built in or are you using Yoast or another plugin?
