    Is there a way to select specific posts to be included in Featured Posts vs Ordering by the last 3 etc..

    I use Advanced Custom Fields, if I create a weight field and set 3 posts to weights 1, 2, 3 - would there be a way in Featured posts I could order by that custom field?

    Is there an easier way to do this? I am using the Divine theme built on Genesis.

    You can modify the $query_args if you copy over the widget to your child theme and then use:

    'orderby' => 'meta_value',
