    Is there an easy way to select a bunch of Categories in a Featured Posts widget? It looks as if you can have no category or all categories rather than, say, Cat1, Cat2, Cat4, But not Cat3.

    What's the easiest way to accomplish this?

    1. You could find a extended version of the widget which includes a option to include or exclude posts from specific categories.

    2. If you feel like a coding challenge, you could copy over the featured post widget file to your child theme and modify the $query_args to include posts from specific categories only.

    Thanks. Where can I find the extended widget? I've googled and searched plugins to no avail.
