Looking for help in having search results provide a page URL and an excerpt of the page.

Kinda like this format:

http://search.freefind.com/find.html?si=77723733&pid=r&n=0&_charset_=UTF-8&bcd=%C3%B7&query=church

One solution is to create a search.php file and use code to remove/add functions directly in the file.

You could use the landing page template as a starting point.
