    Hi, how do you increase the search box width so that it take sup the full width of the sidebar? I am using the Altitude Pro theme. You can see the current search box on the sidebar here: http://earnworthy.com/blog

    Thanks.

    Remove this rule and see what happens

    .search-form input[type="search"] {
        margin-right: 10px;
        width: auto;
    }

    Wow @braddalton I'm not the OP, but just for fun I tried that on my own "practice version" of that theme, and your instruction worked great.

    I tried that and it didn't work. Do you think it could be an issue with the cache as to why I didn't see a change after removing those lines?

    Thanks @MoodyRiviera

    @nscalice
    I tested it in Firebug on your theme and it worked. Please clear any caching.

    .search-form input[type="search"] {
        /* margin-right: 10px; */
        /* width: auto; */
    }

    Maybe that's the problem. I just now took another look at your site, using Chrome and the box is still not as long as you wanted.

    Then I opened your site in a browser (Safari) that had not been to your site, and the box does extend the way you want.

    That makes me think it *is* a caching problem...maybe will take awhile to work itself out?

    Yup, it was caching. Thanks so much for the help!
