Hi Everyone,
I just went live with a redesign of our school's website using News Pro. I would love some feedback, especially on the color scheme. Our school colors are purple and gold (similar to the Los Angeles Lakers), but I thought adding yellow would make it look too garish. I still wanted a second color to complement the purple, but the suggestions from the color scheme designers like Kuler and others just didn't feel right. So I played around until I got something that looked and felt right. Am I on the right track? The school administration likes, it but I would love to hear some outside opinions.

Full disclosure that borrowed heavily from the look of this school's non-Genesis site: http://www.siprep.org/
Thanks!

Great job. I normally am not a fan of 3 column layouts but your inner pages are very clean and readable. I guess if I had to complain about something it would be the header. It's a tad big and a bit sparse IMO, with the header right links kind of floating on their own. Very, very minor and not worth worrying about. It's probably a good thing to have some space up there in case you need to add something.
Thanks for the feedback Adam. You're right the header is a bit sparse. I'm leaving some room in case we are able to get a logo done. Might also put a widget on the right of the title for big announcements if needed. Much appreciated.
