Some sites are full screen, while others are a page framed against a background.

Often a theme will demo with a fixed width then when activated will be full width.

What is the nomenclature so I can research where the settings are and explore my options.

Does it apply to all the pages or can each page be set individually.

    Timothy:

There is a "default" setting (which you can control); then you can adjust each page individually, based on your needs. If you don't make any changes to a page, it will inherit the "default" settings.

To set the default setting, go to Dashboard > Genesis > Theme Settings > Default Layout

    Hi
If I am not mistaken those are all full width with combinations of header-content-sidebar; header-sidebar-content, etc.
I understand how these work on a page by page basis, and can also be controlled from a html editor.
I was asking about the layout where the page is framed in the center of the screen with blank space around it

Wow ... this question is over 4 years old ... and no answer. What if you had a forum but no one came.

@mirgcire This is not an official Studio Press support site. It is a community volunteer forum. Getting answers here is always a hit or miss proposition. None of us that regularly respond get paid for our time. We're end users just like you that like helping people.

I answer a lot of questions here, but I also look at the time it takes for me to provide and answer. I run a full-time business and if it requires more than a few minutes to provide a solution, I generally skip the question and hope someone else will pick up on it.
