    I can control the color of the page from the dashboard.
    customize>colors>background
    I cannot set the header color
    The background for the whole site and selected page is also that color.

    I have another setting so I can set the color for each page individually but it overrides the page background as well.
    like this
    http://www.securitytechmaster.com/clear-armor-window-laminates/

    But these are not what I wanted .

    The original issue was the white background on each page. I didn't want it on my home page which is a slider.
    The change I made affected all backgrounds.

    I was told I need a line like

    .site-container {
    background: #adebff;
    for each post id, but I need help writing the rest of the code for this.

    Besides colors, I would like to be able to set transparent as well.

    Thanks
