Hello friends. Just launched my own website, Ruby Shoes Media, that I've built using Centric Pro. This is the beginning of my official work as a builder of WordPress websites using only the Genesis framework.

    All feedback welcome.

    Cheers,
    Susan

Nice, the only thing that sticks out for me is the grey background on the .home-widgets-5 doesn't look right and that the home widget areas seem a little bit too close together (the shoe is almost touching the laptop)

Obv personal pref, but I'd make the background white for .home-widgets-5 and add a padding of 6% to each of the widget areas so it solves both problems and looks easier on the eye.

Oh sorry, also the .site-header .wrap width is set to maximum of 100%, where as the other wraps throughout the site max out at 1280px. Doesn't look right on larger screens.

I love helping creative entrepreneurs build epic things with WP & Genesis.

Susan, this is really good work. You should be very proud of what you've been able to accomplish.

I love it Susan. The images are amazing that you're using- really makes your site shine!
I would suggest adding a contact link to your services page after each detailed description of services your offer... it may encourage potential clients to want to inquire right away.
    Great Job!

Thanks to you all - the positive comments and the suggestions are fabulous. Liz, I loved your suggestion - and I put a contact link at the end of each detailed portfolio item. Need to style it a bit more, but it's there. Thank you. And David, I've adjusted the home widgets padding - I've left the grey, but I'm 'sitting with it' for a while and might change it. Also, thanks for the note on the site header wrap. Fixed that, too. Thank you again for taking the time - much appreciated!

Long overdue thank you for your comments and feedback. David Browne, I corrected the spacing between the home widget areas so that photos have more "breathing room" between them, and Liz I've integrated your suggestion - I need to clean up the styling on those links, but they're now in place. Thank you all!

    Nice website, well done.
I have a few small suggestions.
I know that nowadays because of faster internet speeds, developers don't pay as much attention to file sizes but I think it is still important because not everybody has very fast broadband and because Google gives some degree of favour to faster loading websites.
Many of your images are quite large in file size and could easily be reduced by 75% without any noticeable loss of quality. For example the red shoes image on the front page is about 750kb whereas it could be about 150 - 200kb.
Also some of your images, when clicked open the original image in its own page which I think is not a good idea - it is distracting for the user taking them away from the page.
    Apart from that, very good.
