MemberI have read multiple posts where others are having issues with this in other themes, but none of the prescribed fixes in the other forums have worked for me, so I thought I’d title this “Executive Pro” so that I could get some specific help.
I’ve tried manipulating the “overflow: hidden” tags and the “.flex li” areas, etc. (as seen in other suggestions) but this is not working. I’ve also tried disabling plugins to see if there were any issues there…still nothing.
Obviously, I do have the “Display Next/Previous” box checked in the Genesis slider settings – or I wouldn’t be here.
I would also like to see the "radio" style dots/buttons that count how many slides there are in the rotation. This appeared the first time I opened the site but have also mysteriously disappeared.
Thanks for any help!

KeymasterI ran your code through the DiffChecker. Look at this - http://www.diffchecker.com/ry6cggll. On the left is the CSS of the Executive Demo which has a different version number 3.0.1 (newer than yours). But scroll down and/or do a "find" - for "flex" and you will see some coding differences in there. Maybe take a look at this and see if information from your CSS is missing and then add it.

ParticipantInstead of targeting
.genesis_responsive_slider
try targeting.widget.genesis_responsive_slider

MemberThank you AC & Len... AC, I've updated both the Executive Pro theme and Genesis theme. I've also uploaded the directional icons into my media library to see if that would help... I'm at a loss, here. Your DiffChecker link didn't have any content in it (it might be out of date). I also searched for "flex" in my code and can see where it is telling it to draw the icons (i.g. "(images/icon-direction-nav.png)" for example) - - but it looks like the file names are corresponding to the code so I'm wondering why It's not showing up on the live site?
As a dummy check, I went to the Respon. Slider tab in settings to make sure I had the "Show arrows" option checked - I do.
Len - I've looked everywhere for those targets you mentioned and don't see them. Can you suggest exactly where in Editor I can find those??
Thanks, guys. This is frustrating. the demo looks great - wish my arrows & buttons appeared.

MemberThe images for the radio buttons are not found which is why they are not seen.
In custom.css find the following line.content .genesis_responsive_slider .flex-control-nav li a{ background: url(images/icon-control-nav.png) no-repeat 0 0; background-size: 13px 39px; }
comment this piece of css.

MemberI found that line in my CSS ... what do you mean by "comment this piece of css" ??
Also, how can you tell within that sliver of code that the buttons are "not found?" What can I change/manipulate in the code to so they can be found??
Thanks for your help & clarification.

MemberI started deactivating Plugins and found that it is JETPACK that is causing the issue. This is a problem b/c Jetpack is powering several design features on my site. I have contacted StudioPress Support for further info. Thank you.

Membersparq2flame, hi, can I ask you how you got your next/previous buttons on your home page to be on the left and right? I using the Genesis Responsive Slider and it is putting my next/previous buttons in the bottom right hand corner of the image and it is blocking my title text. I would prefer to have them like you do on the left and right sides in the middle.
Thanks for any help.
