    I am considering buying the Showcase Pro theme, but I'd really like a sliding banner that links to featured posts. I am comfortable with modifying code, but I also like the theme and don't want to end up with it looking completely different. Is there a reasonably easy way to switch out the current banner with a sliding one and keep the same look?

    The Genesis responsive slider is coded to pull in the featured image and/or excerpt/content limit.
