Since updating to Gen 2.0.1 and WP 3.6.whatever it is now, changes that I make to Gen Responsive slider and to Gen Simple edits are not taking. No matter what I changes I make to either one (i.e. copyright info, Slider content settings, etc.) they don't show up on the site.

Solutions?? Well, other than removing Responsive Slider and Simple Edits from every single site I have them on. 🙂

Do you have any security plugins? Sometimes they block updates because they think they are injection attacks.

This is a new site/install, so the only plugins installed and in use right now are Responsive Slider and Simple Edits (the latest version).

Well, to be honest... if you all are working on local sites, it's pretty much impossible for the community to assist you because we cannot see what you have going on. It's like asking us to find something in the dark.

the main problem is.. if you change i dnt know the font or border width in CSS either in Style.css or the main style sheet of the responsive slider. Nothing will change..

If you copy over the slider CSS, be sure to put !important in your code to force the change.

Has anyone been able to get Simple Edits and Responsive Slider to work in Gen 2.0.1 and WP 3.6? Both worked on all sites I'm using them on with no problems.... until the Genesis upgrade. I'm surprised both of those plugins weren't updated along with Genesis.

I believe Simple Edits is working for me and we're up to date on everything. http://corporette.com. I don't use Responsive Slider though.

Katmmad -- The project I'm currently working on will be my last use of Responsive Slider. It's just become too much of a pain in the butt to use. Thankfully, there are other sliders I use (Royal and Wow, to name just a couple). I'm thinking I may need to dump RS on this project, and see if that resolves the Simple Edits issue.
