    Hello, Genesis Community!

    I´m using  Agency theme.

So, i want choose some images to my slider. I got those options to make work:

    All taxonomies and terms
    Id´s
    Categories

Then i create a page/post and add the image to use at the slider,  but i just want use the  image and not to leave to any place.(link)

I did have create a post/categorie/id and something like that to make the image work in the slider. But not!

(even this way i could not make, i´m confuse what configuration to use in the slider, there´s a lot! )

    Resume:

I just want use a 950x360 image in the slider that not "appear" on the site.

Someone have a clue to make this work for me?

    Thanks!

Ps: It would be so easy if had a uploader image on the Slider to use in that kind of case

Go to Slider Settings > Content Settings > check the box "Do not link Slider image to Post/Page."

(To see it in action, visit my site - I have a slider which doesn't link to pages or posts.)

    Hello Susan,

    Thanks for reply.

But my problema is that i can´t use the slider. I don´t know how to use the settings.

I creat a page and added the image , but i don´t know how to find the ID or term to make the slide work!

    Slider setting says:

Include or Exclude by page ID

Choose the include / exclude slides using their post / page ID in a comma-separated list. (1,2,3,4 for example)

And i have to include, but where is my page ID?

These instructions from the WordPress codex will help you find the page ID:
Sometimes it is necessary to know the ID of a particular Post, Page, Category, Tag, Link, Link Category, or User. To determine that ID, use one of these method:

Look in your browser status bar for the ID:

Visit the related 'Edit' screen in your Administration Panel. For instance in the case of Posts visit Posts->Edit, for Pages visit Pages->Edit, and for Categories visit Posts->Categories.
Now hover your mouse over the 'item' you need the ID. In the case of Pages, hover over that particular Page's title in the Title column and for Categories hover over the Categories Name in the Name column.
Look at the status bar (at the bottom of your browser) and the you will find at the end of the line something like "post=123" or "cat_ID=67". In these cases, 123 is the Page ID, and 67 is the Category ID.

    I ´m  doing this:

    http://www.gloritur.com.br/wp-admin/post.php?post=63&action=edit

    I Choose: [page]

    I get the 63

Include or Exclude by page ID

Choose the include / exclude slides using their post / page ID in a comma-separated list. (1,2,3,4 for example)

    Select [ Include]

List which page IDs to include / exclude. (1,2,3,4 for example)

    [ 63 ]

But still not working, what i´m doing wrong?

I'm not any kind of expert on any of this, but I've set up the Responsive Slider on one of my sites, and got it to work, after a lot of trouble.

The first thing I remember that caused trouble for me was that I didn't realize that the slider only seemed to work if I used the "Featured Image" feature on each page that I wanted included in the slider. And you have to make sure your image that you are using as the Featured Image is exactly the right size, as specified in the instructions – in my case it was 950 x 295 pixels.

I had to experiment with the other settings to get it to work, and in my case it worked best if I used posts instead of pages.

Here's a link to some instructions that I thought were helpful. Maybe this will help you:
