I often add sidebars to our child themes, and they always show up under the primary sidebar in the dashboard. Is there a way to force them to appear above the primary sidebar - up with the "header right" sidebar? I know it seems trivial since it's a back end issue, but it drives my sense of order crazy not to be able to group them as I would like.

I don't have a specific url, this is something that occurs on all sites.

    Someone please restore my sanity!

You could use the genesis_before_sidebar_widget_area hook as this executes before the primary sidebar.

Here's another solution you may find helpful

Thanks, but I'm not talking about where it executes. I'm trying to group them in the dashboard area.
