    Hi Guys,

Would be great to get some help with this.

I have installed disqus on my genesis news theme site so I'm no longer using the built in comments system. Despite this, there is still the comment link at the top of the post. When you click it doesn't do anything.

Could someone please give me the code to remove it? Or is there just some box to tick in the settings somewhere?

Also, is it possible to turn the date published thing at the top of the post off and on depending on the post?

    Cheers guys,

    Really appreciate your help.

    Ben

Install the Genesis Simple Edits plugin and delete the shortcode for the comments link

    Hi Brad,

    That worked a treat: http://benconnormusic.com/song-idea-1efs9476/

    Thanks so much!

I don't suppose you could tell me the code to make the background of the drop down menu black (hover over 'Music')?

I tried to alter it and it went transparent.

    Cheers,

    Ben

Looks like you got it fixed?

I use Firebug addon and add new css rules at the bottom of the big window until it works.

Grab the selector from the small window on the right and change the value for the background using the correct selector in a new rule
