    Hello everyone.

I'm working on a site with Outreach Pro at the moment, and all of the posts have 3 <h2> tags that appear as text in the automated post excerpts on category archives.

Aside from creating custom post excerpts by pasting some text into the Excerpt field on individual posts, is there another way to remove the text from the heading tags that appears in the post excerpts?

I found some older code snippets that purport to accomplish this, but none of them seem to work (link below).

    Thank you!

What you could do is filter the entry title wrap on archive pages ( conditionally ) rather than filter the excerpt which would only filter the excerpt content and not the wrap.

    Brad,

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried something similar to this and it worked. Unfortunately it overrides the post excerpt in instances where a custom excerpt was added to the Excerpt field in individual posts, but I believe I can worry about that later. For now, I have a solution that removes the unwanted text.

    Thank you!
