I am about to build a new site for a client using Navigation Pro, and they are wanting to remove sections on the Homepage at first, them add them back in after they have more content. I never figured out how to easily do this on my own Authority Pro site, so I want to find out beforehand so I do it right for my client.

I know how to remove a section, but if I want to bring it back later and fill it with the client's content to replace the filter content, how do I do that while retaining all the other content I've customized throughout the site?

The link is to my Authority Pro site, as my client's sure isn't hosted yet.

I would say, create a duplicate of the current home page, save it draft. Then remove the blocks you want from the copied page and use that one. This way you have all of the demo blocks saved in that draft and can grab the block code when you are ready.

Oh my gosh that's brilliant! Thank you so much, Anita! I've never tried copy/pasting whole blocks, especially from one page to another.

So that is confirmed that this works? I guess I could experiment on my Authority Pro site. I doubt it would mess anything up and would likely work on all the themes.

If you want to copy blocks, you can open the page in Text mode. Locate the block, copy it, then go to the other page and open it in Text Mode and insert it where you want it.

You could also save each of the home page blocks as reusable blocks. Give them names and then add the block that way too.

Okay, yeah! That makes sense. Thank you so much for your help, Anita.
