    I'd like to remove 'About' from 'About $name' in author box title but and struggling to work out how. Help!

    Hi,
    That's an interesting brain-teaser. There's a filter that's good for that.

    My example uses a bit of PHP to remove "About" and leave the rest.

    Thanks Dave, I guess that does the trick.

    But I'm surprised there isn't a more elegant and clean way to not have the word "About" printed at all and so not have to do a string replace to remove it.

    Thanks anyway, this does the job for now.

    You're welcome, and glad it helped.

    There are handy edit tools for many things, and plugins to do even more of that, but other areas need some code, as you've seen.
