Hello... I cannot get the Read More Tag <!--more--> within Posts to work for NEWS theme. I've tried pasting the snippits on this page into my functions.php file but they do not seem to do anything

    Post Excerpts

for example I've tried inserting the Read More Tag within this post
    http://retirementrevised.com/retirement-spending-why-rules-of-thumb-dont-work/

    any suggestions?

In the Genesis Theme Settings, you need to have the Content Archives section set to "Display Post Content" and then add a number of characters - e.g. 300.

If you have it set to Display Post Excerpts, you'll get whats visible on your blog posts page.

    Cheers

    Helena 🙂
