Quick question on upgrading genesis 2..1 & our life style theme 1.0
Should I need to do anything to code php files or css styel sheet as we have upgraded last week to genesis 2.1 and everything seemed to be working fine still on our lifestyle theme with no issues and plugins etc, layout is fine that we can spot so far!

***Please note*** The reason We use the older Lifestyle Child Theme 1.0 and had it all customized at the time to its entire look and a few other sites as well....

Hence do not really want to upgrade it to version 2.00 due to having to spend a lot of time etc doing this and the other similar sites. Infact we tried out version 2.0 Lifestyle as a test Live preview rand it really caused a lot of things to be misaligned and side bar content we noticed was all over the place etc!
So rather then start all over in 2.0 to several sites would rather stay with lifestyle 1.0 version

Any thoughts or advice please folks?

    Hi JennyLon,

Upgrading to the 2.0.x framework is a good step -- and good news that nothing has broken!

You don't have to do anything else if you don't want to, and you're doing well to keep WordPress and Genesis at their most recent release level.

From "Why You Shouldn’t Fear Upgrading to Genesis 2.0 When it’s Released"

    Backward Compatibility
We’ve always done our best to provide users with the best update experience possible. That includes paying special attention to the finer details of backward compatibility.
It’s important to us that our users feel safe and secure when updating, that our promise of one-click seamless updates holds true.
With Genesis 2.0, this shouldn’t be any different — even though we’ve added a ton of features, most notably support for HTML5 markup.
Even if you’re running a non-HTML5 theme on your site, you should experience no issues when updating to Genesis 2.0.

Thanks Tom! Just wanted some feedback in case some folk felt some new code may cause issues from updating to genesis 2.0 and may have to alter some things but you have put my mind at rest and with the snippet info on it etc...
