    Problem with Education Theme (v1) with Newer / Older Comment link.

    If you look at  http://web.njcu.edu/2013-2018/ you'll see I have a few test comments (total of 4).

    I am simply trying to be able to set things so that I can break the pages (at maybe 25 or 50, etc.) and that a link to access older or newer comments will appear (as it does now) but .. function as I am expecting.

    For example, currently, I added a new comment at 11:08am (but it's not at the top of the page).  I want the order to display the most recent comments at the top.

    Then, you'll notice that the link appearing below the first 2 comments, says "Newer Comments" ... but when you click on it, you'll be taken to "Older Comments" (not newer ones).

    I futzed with the settings under   Settings > Discussion in the dashboard and have the settings set to:

    Break comments into pages with [ 2 ] top level comments per page and the [ FIRST ] page displayed by default
    Comments should be displayed with the [ NEWER ] comments at the top of each page

    Can anyone advise me on what I need to do in order to get the "newest" comments (on each page to be listed at the top) and so that the link to older comments or newer comments will display properly?

    Thanks,

    Gary

    I don't know why, but I had:

    if (!function_exists('iweb_reverse_comments')) {
        function iweb_reverse_comments($comments) {
            return array_reverse($comments);
        }
    }
    add_filter ('comments_array', 'iweb_reverse_comments');

    in my functions.php file.

    I removed this, and then it is fine.
