    Hi, I have added a code to recognize the links in the post content and works very well:
    add_filter('the_content', 'make_clickable');

    To display the post content in the archives I chose the option to "Display post content" and limit the numbers of characters to display. I know that this option removes the text formatting, but I would like to add the links to the url texts.

    Is there a way to add links on the url texts that are in the post content of archives pages?

    Example in:
    http://ggsalas.staging.wpengine.com/445/
    http://ggsalas.staging.wpengine.com/pub/notas/

    Best regards

    Hi Susan!

    When I select "Display Post Content" do you know if there is ANY way to KEEP all formatting from the text displayed?

    I'm getting a little desperate... 🙂

    Thanks in advance!!

    Hi, I don't see a resolution to this and I have the same issue - Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archive page set to Display Post Excerpts - and within those excerpts there is a clickable link:

    http://cnas-re.uog.edu/cnas-news/

    See the story titled: "KUAM TV Story and Interview: New Type of Coconut Rhino Beetle on the Move. "
    There are two versions of the same link - one under HERE and then the visible link.

    I tried to also set it to show 200 characters of Display Post Content, and the links still won't work. Pls advise soonest.
    thanks!
