I am building a site using Outreach Pro. I have noticed that widgets placed in the "Home top" section are displayed first on the index page with the primary sidebar to the right in its normal position. Widgets placed in "Home bottom" display directly beneath "home top" on a desktop. But, when the same site is seen in a tablet or a phone the order is

    First display= Home top
    Second displayed= primary sidebar
    Third displayed= home bottom

So when I refer to the "images below" in home top it makes sense if you are viewing on a desktop. The images are directly below. But on a phone or tablet if I say the images below what appears is the primary sidebar. bummer.

I could place the images into home top but they display with a partial page due to the adjacent primary sidebar. If I have the images in home bottom they span the entire page on a desktop and look much better.

With all that said, is there a way to control the primary sidebar on phones and tablets so it was displayed after the home bottom sections? Or do I simply place the widgets into home top and suffer the inferior placement?

Would love to hear any ideas on this. I am very new to studiopress and am eager to learn. thanks.

    Hi there,

Welcome to Genesis. Something is awry with your setup, I think. Outreach Pro, like most StudioPress pro themes, will not display the sidebar content if any of the home page widgets are in use and forces a full_width_content layout. (This is the first thing that is setup in front-page.php)

So, if you have content in home-top and/or home-bottom what you are describing should not occur.

A link to your site would help us to see what you are describing, but you should check your theme files to see what's going on, if they are original or have been modified, etc.
