[post_author_link] is linking to https of my homepage resulting in a not found error.

What would be causing the [post_author_link] to link to THAT and not my author archives? [I don't use Simple Edits Plugin].

Any help/insight would be greatly appreciated.

Ah sorry, found the solution.

I used [post_author_posts_link] instead of [post_author_link] and that did the trick.
