Possibility to have a slider's interval driven by click?

Hi,

On my website having the Foodie Pro theme I'm trying to change my header into a sort of slider which would change image each time the user is clicking on an article (article or page, or any internal link).

The issue is, for every slider I find, the interval between images is caclulated in time and not by specific action.

So my question, a true newbee question I confess, is : Is there any widget or code to allow me to make the interval piloted by clicking and not by a timelapse.

Maybe I am misunderstanding your question, but if your visitor clicks a link won't it take them to a new page, thereby nullifying whatever event would be triggered on that action?

Because of the presence of the slider in the header and not in the page itself, I think it should not be nullified by the new page, as the header is not reloaded when clicking on a internal link (the header, the sidebar and the footer are not reloaded unless specifics requests if I have well understood).

But I'm maybe wrong.
