    I am using the Minimum Pro theme and I would like to create a portfolio inside a portfolio base on specific categories or the Parent attribute on that portfolio.
    What I want to do is a recipe page that shows lets say Desserts (inside this will be all the desserts photos that connect to the post of that dessert.
    Can this be done?

    Or should I just create a page that contains the main categories that will then link to the recipe then the post.

    This is an example of what I'm talking about:

    Currently I'm trying to figure a way to do it in a portfolio but not such a luck: http://www.myownbs.com/portfolio/

    I would add custom taxonomy types to your custom post type portfolio.
