    Hi Guys,

Like most web development folks, I'm trying to prepare for the roll-out of Google Core Web Vitals in May. It's been a struggle — Especially on mobile.

Even the Genesis Sample theme demo performance on Google PageSpeed insights is very poor.

    Will this be improved upon?

    Note:
GTmetrix uses a completely different implementation of Lighthouse than Google, so please don't refer me to the "wonderful" GTmetrix scores. Google PageSpeed Insights is the benchmark for website performance.

    Thanks.

Since you are referencing the Genesis Sample scores, I'd probably recommend you asking StudioPress about that. Only they can tell you when there products would be improved upon. This is the community forum and they do not visit here often so their contact page would be the best place to ask.

I have noticed with most theme designers they do not optimize their demos for page speed or use caching tools on them. I think they should. And that's on "a lot" of demos, even those like on Themeforest. I think it does them a disservice.

Maybe you could bring it up at the next Genesis Shapers meeting.
