    I finally dove into WordPress and I'm finding it to be a really great website development platform. However, I'm a little overwhelmed by the sea of plugins that exists.

    Since I'm a WP virgin, I'm hoping I can save myself a lot of time and frustration by getting the advice of my veteran colleagues. If you have a little free time, please post your recommendations for each plugin category below. Of course all of these would need to be responsive.

    Here are the plugin type I need:
    Filterable Portfolio
    Photo Carousel
    Logo Carousel
    Forms
    Maps and directions
    Calendar
    Social icons
    Scroll to top
    Forum
