    Dear Studiopress Forum,

    I have encountered an issue with the permalink structure of a website that I am currently working - Your input is greatly appreciated!

    At the moment the permalink structure is as follows:
    homepage: http://www.example.com
    category: http://www.example.com/category/sportshoes/
    post: http://www.example.com/sportshoes/nike/

    I would like to remove the "category/" from all category archive pages.

    Any suggestions?

    Kind Regards,

    Will

    If I understand your question correctly, you can use this tutorial to create a blog page for each category.

    @Kassiash - I think the OP wants to remove the category base from all category archive pages, which is something different from the tutorial in your link.

    @William
    - You can give this plugin a try or you can use Yoast's WordPress SEO. Keep in mind that stripping the category base doesn't work with every permalink structure, so once you go down this path, be sure to test your category archive links work.
