I was reading online and realized that Password Protected pages not working in wordpress from Version 3.4.

there is another post that provide the solution. You can read more from http://tummel.me/wordpress-3-4-custom-password-form/

from that post above "wp-pass.php with wp-login.php?action=postpass you should fix your problem. "

i currently using agent press 2. where can i locate the code that containts the wp-pass.php?

if you need to test what i'm referring to, you can check out http://www.newlaunchxpert.com.sg/project-summary/. ANy password u enter go to a error 404..

    any advice is appreciated.

You've read that wrong. Password protected pages work fine - unless you customise them in some way (with the_password_form) filter.

Your example post protected doesn't look any different to the standard, so you probably don't need any custom form, if you are already doing it. I can't see anything (quick look) in the AgentPress 2.* code that suggests the default is to override that part of WP functionality, so it's either a customization, or a plugin.

Disable all plugins, and check through your functions.php file for anything that looks like it it could be amending something to do with the password form.

Disable all plugins, then open a private browser session, head to your protected post and try an incorrect, then correct password. Does it still redirect to a 404?
