Hi, I tried putting code into the editor section to center the navigation menu. I then deleted it and when I went to the site I got this-

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /home/patoc7/vipmtgca.com/wp-content/themes/corporate/functions.php on line 54

Now I can't log in to wordpress or anything. How do I fix this? I'm so frustrated! Thank you!

Please login to your server using FTP or File Manager in cPanel and remove the code from your child themes functions.php file on line 54.

All PHP code should be pasted at the end of your child themes functions.php file using a text editor like Notepad++

Looking at this now. Please don't publically post your login details here because anyone can use them.

Can you email me your FTP login details please.

    Brad,

I have a very similar problem to the previous poster. I was trying edit the code in functions.php in order to resize the header logo in the outreach child theme. I was actually trying to follow instructions you had given someone else on this topic on another thread. It seemed to be going fine and then after one update I got the message "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')' in /home/content/98/11762998/html/wp-content/themes/outreach/functions.php on line 47."

I can't get back into my site to try to correct the problem. I don't know what you mean by logging into my server through FTP or using cPanel. This was my first edit of the functions.php so if I could just get it reverted back to the original I think it would be fine.

    Can you help me?

    Looks like you fixed it.

If you're going to modify PHP yourself, i suggest you install WordPress locally like i have a play around with code there. Its a great way to learn risk free.
