Hi,
I have been using Genesis for a little while, but I have never used the Parallax Pro Theme before. A client insisted on having it which seemed like a great idea as I thought it would save me time, however I am running into issues I was hoping I could get help with.
Pages;
I deleted all the pages that came with the theme as they had no relevance to what I am creating. I have created my new pages, but when they are loaded I get a 'Not found, error 404' page. I can not seem to get my pages to load?Logo;
Understandably my client would like their logo used instead of the standard wording. The theme forces you to crop the logo, however the logo will not fill the prescribed space proportionally, plus it looks way too big. To counter act this, I created a flat logo with white lettering on a green background which is 360 ?— 70. However, when you view the site on a phone, the logo obviously sits to the left rather then centred.Is there a work around for this?
Many thanks in advance
Grant

// Filter the genesis_seo_site_title function to use an image for the logo instead of a background image add_filter( 'genesis_seo_title', 'filter_genesis_seo_site_title', 10, 2 ); function filter_genesis_seo_site_title( $title, $inside ){ $child_inside = sprintf( '<a href="%s" title="%s"><img src="'. get_stylesheet_directory_uri() .'/images/yourlogofile.png" title="%s" alt="%s"/></a>', trailingslashit( home_url() ), esc_attr( get_bloginfo( 'name' ) ), esc_attr( get_bloginfo( 'name' ) ), esc_attr( get_bloginfo( 'name' ) ) ); $title = str_replace( $inside, $child_inside, $title ); return $title; }
As far as the pages coming up 404, try and save the permalinks in the settings again.
Cheers.

Thanks for the reply, I added the code to the function file, but could not see any difference, not sure what was supposed to happen?
As for the pages, if I turn permalinks off the pages do show, when I reinstate them, they stop working again? There is also a second primary menu at the top the pages?
Thanks
September 3, 2015 at 1:28 pm #164499P1SMHMemberPut your logo image in the images folder of the theme then change "yourlogofile.png" in the code to your file name. Then remove the header image in the customization area.
Your pages are not coming up 404 for me now. When you re-saved the permalink setting it fixed that. But I would recommend you set your permalinks to "Post Name" not "Default".
In the menu setting, do you have your main menu set to primary or secondary? That may cause the extra menu to appear in the pages.

Thanks, everything is sorted apart from this permalink issue? I should say that if permalinks are set to default the pages work. If I change to Post Name or any other type of permalink, they do not work?
Thanks
