    I have a  strange problem, I have a site at http://www.learn-to-tint.com/ and it works fine but I am moving the site to http://www.carwindowtintingtraining.com/

    The sites are exactly the same but the one at http://www.carwindowtintingtraining.com/  - the page will not slide when you use the menu, like the demo theme and the other one i have linked to, the css is exactly the same ( well the theme one - the genesis one i have not touched)

     

    Can anybody shine any light on this for me?

    Hi there, I had a look and I think I found the issue.

    On Learn To Tint the site URL is: http://www.learn-to-tint.com/
    and one of the links (for example) is: http://www.learn-to-tint.com/#services

    On the other the site URL is: http://www.carwindowtintingtraining.com/
    but the links in the menu don't have the www in them (hover over one and you'll see), e.g: http://carwindowtintingtraining.com/#services

    When I put the www back in the menu links the scroll thing worked again. (When you're clicking the links at the moment you're sending the browser to another page and that's why it reloads before jumping down)

    So my suggestion is go back to the Appearance > Menu links in the WordPress dashboard and (in order of preference):

    1) rebuild the menu and see if that fixes it
    2) manually change each link in the menu to include www
    3) change the site URL to http://carwindowtintingtraining.com so it matches (I'd only do this if nothing else was working)

    hi yellowdog - I found an answer on a related post. The page links in your new menu do not have 'www.' at the beginning of each page, but they do on the site that works. Try adding 'www.' to each of the page links in the menu and see if that works.
