Hi:) I'm using the Parallax theme and creating a very long inner page of frozen yogurt flavors.

I'm trying to add additional chunks of information to the bottom of the page, which really makes it quite long. But every time I try to save the update, it takes ages to load and then goes to a blank page. Is there a limit on something that I can increase to prevent this?

    Many thanks!

Could be the images or cheap shared hosting restricting your server resources.

    Hi Brad--
    Thank you:)

The first thing I did was call the hosting company (Media Temple's "Premium WP" service) and they denied any such restrictions. I'm going to call back now b/c it seems that answers really depend on who answers the phone and how knowledgeable they are.

What do you mean "could be the images"?

The size limit for the page could be huge because of all the images.

When i loaded it, i didn't experience any problems though.

I would try WordPress Developers for this question http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/

I'm starting to question the whole idea.

It's loading ok right now b/c it won't let me save all of the images. (Probably about half of them are there.) The guy I just spoke with at the hosting company acknowledged that it could be settings on their end, so it would be a matter of maybe switching to VPS. Seems like a lot of trouble to go through to end up with a page that will be a nightmare of slow page load on a mobile, etc.

Thanks again for your help:) I'm going to see if we can structure it differently.

That could be a strategy the hosting provider uses to get an upgrade.

    Ew. That's a disappointing thought:(

So interestingly...I've been trying to move the information onto the page slowly, giving it time between saves. And, for some reason, it appears to be working. I've got most of the content on the page. I do NOT understand this. Its as if the server will only permit a certain amount of content to be saved to the page/site within a certain period of time.

Might be a limit. Do you get any error messages?

No, just a blank screen and a page in the url area ending in "post.php"
