I'm using the basic Genesis theme, with the blog page here:
http://ahujaclark.com/blog

I am trying to create padding on the left side before "Recent Blog Posts".

Is there a way to do this?

on line 979 of your css there is an error on the padding declaration.

Change:
padding: 5px 20 0;

to:
padding: 5px 20px 0;
