Hey everyone, I'm using the Executive pro theme, and instead of the widgetized front page I want to use a custom page to be displayed as the root. What's the best way to do this

    Thank you.

In the reading settings, you can choose a static page and select the page that you want to display as the front page.

Another option is through modifying the existing front-page.php file in the theme. If there is no existing front-page.php, you can create a new one in your theme folder and customize it.

Oh I thought setting it in "reading" was the trick. It wasn't working since I had widgets set up. I deleted the widgets and all is good in the world again. Thanks.
