    My header image isn't fitting correctly on my laptop n desktop, it looks great on iPad n iPhone. Can someone please tell me what I need to change

    To the best of my knowledge, it's simply because the image you're using isn't large enough (the width is too small). The container is set to 100% width, and the image scales proportionally until it reaches its max width, and then stops. The Facebook icon is moving as it should, it just looks broken because your image isn't behind it.

    The width of the image is 1140 px, what should I change the container to in order to make it work right

    That entirely depends on the layout of your website. I personally chose to have a 1200px site on my latest project, but some go with 960, 1140, and every other value imaginable. Decide on the entire layout of your site, and then adjust it to that - definitely don't build your website around the image you already have.
