    When I try to add photos to a site designed about two years ago, I get the following error message:

    Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2016/11. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    I haven't gone into the host since the site was created. Anyone have suggestion on how to fix this or can tell me why it is happening. Thanks

    #1 - Are you using the latest WP version ?

    #2 - Have you edited your file permissions ? More info here:
