    Hi

I have two sites running Genesis. One received a message a few days ago asking me to upgrade to 2.1.3 which I did with no issues.

The 2nd site has no such message. It is still showing 2.1.2. When I click 'Updates' in WordPress it tells me that all my themes are up to date.

Is there any way of forcing the upgrade option to appear (site is headforpoints.com) or do I have to reinstall Genesis by downloading the zip file etc? I am obviously concerned about issues is WP 4.3 installs first.

    Thanks

I'm piggy-backing because that is EXACTLY the same question that brought me to the forum. I have two sites too, and one prompted the upgrade and the other didn't. And the same issue about WP upgrading automatically.

    Thanks
    Annamarie

Same here. All the test sites I have in Desktop Server had the upgrade notice. None of the sites online did.

    Hi,

Andrea Rennick tweeted this earlier today:

replace files via ftp. some hosts are blocking the update.

Well that's interesting. I can of course do it via FTP - but it's the same host so that's not the issue. One is an "added-on" domain so maybe that's why Genesis doesn't see it?

Me too, Annamarie - same host, successful update for one client but it refused to update for another client. Host doesn't seem to be the issue.
