I'm having an issue when it comes to mobile display with the News Theme. The padding on the right crops the content on mobile devices.

Copy the URL below for one of the inner pages on the News themes:
http://demo.studiopress.com/news/category/entertainment/

And paste it into into one of the many online emulators.
You'll see a portion of the content on the right side gets cut off. Here's one emulator:
