Hi, I tried to add a Fraktur font for the banner of my newspaper site.

I inserted a Font-Face entry at the top of style.css, added (via ftp) a directory named fonts to the respective directory in wp-content and copied the *ttf file into this directory. Doesn't work and home page gets shot to pieces.

Neither StudioPress nor my ISP can/want to help.

Has anybody ever added a new font to his web site in this way? Any plugins that could do this?

    Thanks and all the best.

    H.

There is a ton of buzz going on these days with website composition and custom text styles - and without a doubt, you've seen typography that you'd bite the dust to have on your webpage. A portion of these is paid textual styles, which you could maintain that not need should burn through cash on.

    Google Acts the hero
Google Web Textual styles allow you to peruse every one of the text styles accessible through the Google Web Text styles Programming interface. All textual styles in the registry are accessible for use on your site under an open-source permit and are served by Google servers.

Hi! It sounds like you're having trouble adding a new font to your website. Unfortunately, without more information or access to your site, it's difficult to say exactly what might be causing the issue.
