Ok I'm not a computer person but I have a an idea of how to get things started. This is the issue I'm having:
I have a website now from bludomain
I'm looking to redesign my site to a wordpress one, i currently have on my current site 2 additional links that go to my stationery website and my blog which is a wordpress.com free one
I need to switch from the hosting company I have now to go daddy
    These are my issues:
My blog which is wordpress.com (free) has all my content from the past 8 years, I do not want to lose it when I start my new one.
I purchased a template from a design company and purchased genesis framework from here. I've pulling my hair out as this has sucked the life out of me for days. Any tips on what I should be doing to get started and not lose the blog posts I've written

Can you tell me what your question is?

How can you migrate your WordPress.com posts to your WordPress.org (GoDaddy, self-hostled) site? WordPress.com has a tutorial, or there are many services that you can purchase.
